Recipe For Glass Cleaner With Vinegar

Join me today as I show you how to make a natural, non-toxic, totally safe for the whole family, Recipe For Glass Cleaner With Vinegar. Hi everyone!

I'm so happy to have you back herewith me today to show you how to make a Glass Cleaner With Vinegar.

It's so so easy and it uses ingredients that you can easily find at the grocery store for cheap.

So why would you want to make your own glass cleaner to begin with?

Why not just buy the Windex and all the other cleaners that you can find in the store?

Well first of all because of what I just said it is actually way cheaper to make your own  you're gonna be saving a lot of money.

You're also saving the environment because you can buy things in bulk like this gallon of vinegar and you're refilling your bottles instead of continuing to buy more bottles of plastic, so that helps to save the environment.

And I always like to do things like that.

And the second reason you would want to make glass cleaner at home is because the glass cleaners in the stores contain toxic and even in some cases poisonous chemicals, yes poisonous chemicals!

I don't know why our government doesn't protect us from these things but they don't.

One of the toxins in glass cleaners are artificial fragrances and you're gonna find these in absolutely everything on the market today.

They give me headaches, they make me sick. I don't like products with artificial fragrances in them and many people are reacting to them as well, and the reason is because artificial fragrances are bound together by particles of plastic called phosphates.

When we spray, when we use these artificial fragrances, when we use products with artificial fragrances,

we breathe in these tiny particles of plastic and you can imagine what that might do to your respiratory system. Our bodies don't like plastic

we are not meant to have plastic inside of us! And so we're reacting to the particles of plastic - it's going to trigger asthma, allergies, headaches, brain fog, confusion mood disorders

all kinds of things! So it's a super easy thing to get these out of your home and you can replace them easily with essential oils as well,

which are a much healthier option to have fragrance in your home. Also within artificial fragrances there's almost always some formaldehyde,

which is a toxin. It's a known carcinogen - known to cause cancer, so you just want to stay away from that stuff.

The other two toxins that are in window cleaners, especially glass cleaners, are ammonia and chlorine. And so these are actually considered poisonous

So when you're spraying these on your windows that chlorine in ammonia is gonna be wafting through your house - you're going to be breathing that in along with the artificial fragrances.

So it's no wonder people get sick when they clean their homes or you may find everybody has some allergies and irritation after your home is cleaned and it's because of these toxic chemicals!

You know they're finding more and more that people who clean for a living are having massive health problems, especially respiratory health problems - dealing with lung cancer and all kinds of cancers of the respiratory system.

They're very toxic so when it comes to ammonia and chlorine they're going to irritate your respiratory system much in the same way that artificial fragrances do. So this recipe comes from my book, Detox

Your Home, which you can get on Amazon,  just type in Detox Your Home and I'll also have it linked in the description box below.

Okay solet's begin to make the recipe! This is so easy you'll wonder why you haven't been making it at home before now!

These labels you can grab in my Etsy shop, which I will have linked in the description box below,

but they are recipe labels - not just pretty labels but functional labels so that when you go tore fill this bottle

you won't have to look up the recipe and try to remember which book or which blog or anything like that,

that it came from. All you need is a half a cup of water and one and a half cups of Distilled White Vinegar. And that's it!

Now as we all know vinegar can be kind of stinky so I like to use essential oils to offset the smell. You would need about 10 to 15 drops of essential oils.

Today I'm using Citrus Fresh, which is a combination of lemon and grapefruit and orange. And then you put your top back on.

And I'll have a link to these glass spray bottles below. You can also use a plastic spray bottle it is cheaper - you would want to make sure that it says HDPE on the bottom or PETE and that means it's a strong enough plastic that it can withstand essential oils or harsh cleaners.

Now in addition to this recipe I'm also going to show you several other recipes you can do.

Hydrogen peroxide and water - it's the same recipe - one and a half cups of hydrogen peroxide to a half a cup of water.

The only thing is it doesn't get off streaks and smudges very well so you'll need to use rubbing alcohol first to get the smudges and streaks or any spots off your windows with first, and then use your spray.

I personally like to have an all-in-one solution, I'm sure you do, too, but I just wanted to offer that in case you really hate the smell of vinegar.

That would be a non smelly option. So another option is Thieves Household Cleaner

which you can get through me from Young Living. It's one of my favorite household natural household cleaners.

It's biodegradable, non-toxic,and it contains essential oils like cinnamon, lemon, clove, eucalyptus and rosemary.

It smells like Christmas when you clean and it is an awesome window and Glass Cleaner Vinegar.

You can also clean every other surface in your house with it, so I highly recommend this cleaner as well.

All you would need is 2 cups of water and one cupful of this. And that's it! So it's very very easy and you don't have that have to add to essential oils to it because they're already in there.

So that's it! Thank you for being with me here today!
